Camp Salie is located in Linwood Township in northeastern Anoka County. Acres of pine forest, a creek and wetlands provide the perfect setting for nature studies and other outdoor activities. Camp Salie lies within Martin-Island-Linwood Lakes Regional Park (Linwood Township) which includes a nearby picnic area, trails, playground, open play area and beach.

Camp facilities consist of Jacob Hall (a combination dining-recreation hall with kitchen and fireplace), four camper cabins for 12 people each, one camp staff cabin, and a modern shower/restroom. The camp has a boardwalk that crosses a marsh for access to other trails winding through mature forests.

Each camper cabin has 12 beds and an electric heating unit for use during the colder months (sorry, no air conditioning here).

Call the Bunker Hills Activity Center Building at 763-757-3920 with questions regarding a use of Camp Salie by your own private group. The rental rate is $5 per person with a $100 per day minimum fee. A $200 damage deposit is also required. Rental is at no charge for 4-H activities.

A short walk from the cabins and dining hall is an outdoor gathering area with fire pit. This is a perfect place to have your evening campfire talks and make s'mores. Firewood is on-site and included with your reservation fee.

Camper cabin interiors are rustic. They provide shelter from the weather and a cozy sleeping area. We anticipate that your group will be spending a large amount of time out-of-doors enjoying the scenery and hiking trails or gathering in Jacob Hall.
