The
Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department offers many
varied and unique meeting and gathering spaces. In the
summer and fall months, many people take advantage of the
large picnic pavilions throughout the parks system.
Pavilions seat between 25 and 250 people and offer shelter
from inclement weather, along with the enjoyment of being
outdoors.
The Bunker Hills Activity Center and Campground Visitor Center,
Blue Heron Room at Chomonix Golf Course, Coon Rapids Dam Visitor
Center, Riedel Farm Estate, Wargo Nature Center and Rum River North Shelter Building
offer picturesque, year-round settings for meeting and special
events.
