A vehicle entrance permit is required for vehicle entry into the regional park. $5 per day, $25 for a 12 month period. The annual park pass for the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department allows you to visit all of the regional parks in Anoka County, Carver County and Washington County, and it is good for 12 months from the date of purchase.
By purchasing this pass, you are contributing to the continued upkeep and operations of 10,000 acres of park land and numerous facililties. Only about one-third of the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department’s budget is funded through property taxes. The remaining parts are funded through user fees (such as the park pass) and other sources.
Passes can be purchased year round at the Bunker Hills Activity Center, Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park Visitor Center and Wargo Nature Center. During the summer months, they can be purchased at most regional park gatehouses.
