A vehicle entrance permit is required for vehicle entry into the regional park. By purchasing this pass, you are contributing to the continued upkeep and operations of 10,000 acres of park land and numerous facililties. Only about one-third of the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department’s budget is funded through property taxes. The remaining parts are funded through user fees (such as the park pass) and other sources.
Permit Validity
Annual Permits are valid at all Anoka, Carver, and Washington County Parks. Permit is valid for 12 months from the date of the permit purchase. All of these agencies are part of the Metropolitan Regional Park System.
How to Apply Permit to Vehicle
The annual permits are non-transferable, and must be securely affixed to the lower left-hand side of the vehicle’s windshield, by its own adhesive.
Replacement Permits
If a replacement annual permit is needed due to windshield replacement or sale of vehicle, peel off old permit and send to:

Without proof of previous annual permit, a $15 replacement fee will be charged.
Permit Term
Annual Permits expire at the end of the month punched, the following calendar year.
Permit Fees
First Annual Permit: $25
Second and Third Annual Permits: $15 (second and third permits can be purchased at any time during the term of the first permit, however, the second and third permits are valid only for the same term as the first permit purchased.
Handicapped: $20; proof of permanent handicapped parking permit required.

Bunker Hills Activities Center; Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center; Wargo Nature Center; Regional Park Gate Houses; Rice Creek Campground; Bunker Hills campground; and Anoka County License Centers.

How to Apply Permit to Vehicle
Detach daily entry permit stub and place in lower left corner of windshield. If no gate attendant is on duty, customers must place $5 in the payment envelope and insert it into the honor box.

Daily permits are valid only on the date purchased.

Daily Permit: $5
Daily Permits can be traded in at any of the annual permit purchase locations within 14 days of purchase and receive a $5 discount on a regular priced Annual Permit. Only one discount per annual permit is allowed.
