Kordiak County Park was the first park in the Anoka County Parks System. This 29-acre park is maintained as a natural retreat for residents and visitors of southern Anoka County.

This park is a good example of the need for open space in urbanized communities. Residents of this area value the park, as is evident by the number of people using the area on any given day.
