Wargo Nature Center
Home School Programs
This year's home school programs, as always, will use hands-on activities as the children learn about the natural environment. There is also room for self-expression and self-discovery about nature with the guidance of Wargo staff members. Younger children (grades 1-5) will practice journaling and recording their experiences based on their senses. They will reflect on nature while listening to the wind and watching the birds, trees, and water. Older children (grades 6-12) will spend their time learning about the wonders of water from many different perspectives. They will study water quality and data collection, habitats, and fish and other aquatic life. We hope that you and your children find these programs as exciting as we do! Looking forward to seeing you!
