Recreational Rental Equipment
Did you know that the Anoka County Parks
and Recreation Department rents out many different kinds of
recreation equipment, including kicksleds, cross-country skis
and kayaks? For more information on hours, please contact the
individual locations.
All rentals are weather permitting and on a first come, first served basis. Below
is a list of sites and the equipment that they rent.
Bunker Hills Campground Visitor Center -

- Bicycles ($5-$8/hr depending on the
bicycle chosen)
- Cross-Country Skis ($6/day + $5 for a
daily MN State Ski Pass.)
Coon Rapids Dam Visitor Center - (763)
757-4700
- Bicycles ($5-$8/hr depending on the
bicycle chosen. Helmets and bike locks are free with rentals.)
- Cross-Country Skis ($6/day + $5 for a
daily MN State Ski Pass.)
- Snowshoes ($3 for up to three hours -
at site only.)
- GPS in conjunction with virtual geocaching program
Wargo Nature Center - (651) 429-8007
- Canoes ($7 hour or $25/day.)
- Kayaks ($10/hour for single and
$15/hour for tandem, and $35/day for single and $40/day for
tandem.
- Snowshoes ($3 for up to three hours -
at site only.)
