Located in the City of Fridley, Locke County Park
can be accessed from the University Avenue service road (which runs
in front of Columbia Arena) just south of 73rd Avenue. The
park's entrance road runs along the north side of Columbia Arena.
Rice Creek West Regional Trail runs through Locke
County Park.

Please review the following rules for the
Off-Leash Dog Park:
- The Off-Leash Dog Park is only open during regular park
hours (dawn to dusk).
- All dogs must be legally licensed and vaccinated before
entering the Off-Leash Dog Park.
- All dogs shall be leashed when entering and exiting the
Off-Leash Dog Park.
- Dog owners must be in possession of a leash at all times.
- Dog owners must be in control of their dog(s) at all
times.
- Dog owners may not let their dog(s) out of sight.
- Parents must closely supervise children in the Off-Leash
Dog Park.
- Dog owners must leash their dog(s) at the first sign of
aggression and/or unruly behavior.
- Dog owners are liable for all damage and
injury inflicted by their dog(s).
- Dog owners shall not permit their dog(s) to bark on a
continuous or frequent basis.
- Dogs are not permitted to dig in the Off-Leash Dog Park.
- Dogs "in heat" are not permitted in the Off-Leash Dog
Park.
- No more than three dogs per handler are permitted at one
time in the Off-Leash Dog Park.
- Dog owners are responsible for clean-up after their dog(s)
in the Off-Leash Dog Park (and all other Locke County Park locations while on a leash).
- Users of the Off-Leash Dog Park shall comply with all
other park rules and regulations.
- Dog owners shall not feed their dog(s) in the Off-Leash
Dog Park.

| From Minneapolis: Take I-35W north to
I-694 west. Follow 694 west to University Avenue and turn
right. Follow University Avenue north three miles to 73rd Avenue and
turn right. Follow 73rd Avenue 200 feet east to the service road and
turn right. Go south three blocks and turn left at the entrance
sign. The entrance road is 1/2 mile long and runs east past Columbia

I-694 west. Follow 694 west to University Avenue and turn

Highway 65 (Central Avenue) south to 73rd Avenue and turn right.
Follow 73rd Avenue two miles to the service road before University Avenue
and turn left. Go south three blocks and turn left at the entrance
sign. The entrance road is 1/2 mile long and runs east past Columbia
Arena's north side. |
| From Anoka, Coon Rapids: Follow Coon
Rapids Boulevard south to University Avenue. Take University Avenue
south six miles to 73rd Avenue and turn left. Follow 73rd Avenue 200
feet east to the service road and turn right. Go south three blocks
and turn left at the entrance sign. The entrance road is 1/2 mile
long and runs east past Columbia Arena's north side. |
| From Lino Lakes: Take Highway 242
(Main Street) west to Highway 65 (Central Avenue). Take Highway 65
(Central Avenue) south to 73rd Avenue and turn right. Follow 73rd

sign. The entrance road is 1/2 mile long and runs east past Columbia
