Snowshoeing is a great way to exercise and get outdoors in the winter. Snowshoes disperse your weight allowing you to travel through deep snow with less effort. They give you the opportunity to get off the beaten path and experience our beautiful Minnesota winters. Anyone can learn how to snowshoe with just a few minutes of instruction. Snowshoe programs and rental are available at Wargo Nature Center, Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, and Bunker Hills campground visitor center.
