Single Track Trails - The Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve Single Track Trails consist of two separate trail loops. These trails are entry level (beginner/green)and are suitable for most riders. Both trails are one-way continuous loops that have a single entry/exit point connecting them to an existing paved trail. Riders will use the paved trails to access the new single track trail loops.
- Rice Lake Trail features a few challenging climbs to elevate the heart rate, combined with fun flowing segments at a total length of approximately 1.4 mi.

- Sherman Lake Trail is also a flowing design, however, will feature a few jump opportunities and a couple down-hill segments that should add a little thrill for the gravity fans. The Sherman Lake Trail is around 1.8 mi. in length.

Park Description
The Sandhill Crane Natural Area is located in north central Anoka County, within the City of East Bethel. The Sandhill Crane Natural Area is comprised of 533 acres of biologically significant lands which are unique to the Twin Cities metropolitan region and also notable to the state of Minnesota. It is an example of the diverse native prairie and oak savanna plant communities that once dominated the landscape.

Due to the unique ecological integrity of the SCNA, low impact, soft-surfaced trails and nature observation areas are the only amenities available at this time.
