MRT Re-route
Due to ongoing erosion along the Mississippi, the MRT will be re-aligned farther away from the river’s edge. Site analysis and engineering design began in August 2025 and bidding is anticipated early 2026 with construction fall 2026. There will be a MRT detour during construction.
